KNOXVILLE HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER
Your senior year. Your story. Authentically you.
Senior year is filled with milestones, but your portraits should feel like more than something to check off a list. We’ll create a relaxed, personal session inspired by your style, interests and personality—with gentle guidance so you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.
THE SENIOR EXPERIENCE
A session built around you.
Your senior session begins with a conversation about what makes you—you. We’ll talk about your interests, favorite locations, clothing ideas and the things you want to remember about this season.
Whether your style is classic, adventurous, artistic or completely your own, we’ll create an experience that feels comfortable, meaningful and genuinely personal.
A simple, guided experience.

KIND WORDS
“We had a great experience!” Amy took the time to make sure we had a variety of shots that reflected my son’s personality during his senior photo session. She was patient, and although he wasn’t excited about it, he ended up having a wonderful time! The pictures turned out really well, and the turnaround was incredibly quick. Highly recommend!”
— R. C., Senior Parent
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
Every side of your story.
Bring the outfits that feel like you, choose locations that mean something, and include the interests and activities that are part of your story. Multiple looks and settings allow us to create a varied collection that still feels unmistakably you.
Made to live beyond the screen.
PORTRAITS TO KEEP
After your session, we’ll meet to view your portraits and choose the images you love most. I’ll help you select finished artwork that fits your home and the way you want to remember this milestone—from framed wall portraits and canvas to a beautifully designed senior album.
Every chosen portrait also includes a coordinating social-media digital copy, making it easy to share this season while preserving it in a lasting, meaningful way.

There isn’t one perfect time for senior pictures, but earlier planning gives us more choices. I recommend beginning the conversation as early as the spring of your junior year, especially if you want photographs at a location that looks best during the warmer months.
Fall and early spring are my favorite seasons for senior portraits. A fall session is especially helpful if you want to use your photographs for graduation announcements. Spring sessions are also beautiful, and I’ll make sure your gallery is ready promptly so you have time to select your portraits before graduation.
-
A $200 non-refundable session fee is required to reserve your date on my calendar. This fee covers the planning and photography session itself. Finished artwork and the corresponding digital images are selected and purchased separately after your session.
If illness or weather requires us to reschedule, your session fee will transfer to the new date we choose together.
-
Three or four outfits usually provide plenty of variety. Consider your locations when choosing what to bring, and select clothing that feels comfortable and reflects your personality. You might include something dressy, something casual and an outfit connected to a sport, activity or interest.
More clothing changes will make the session longer, but I don’t impose a strict time limit. I’ll help you coordinate your outfits with the locations so everything works well together.
-
I’ll offer several choices based on the style and atmosphere you want. Options might include a beautiful farm, an urban setting in downtown Knoxville or one of several gardens in and around Knoxville. Depending on the distance between them, we can often photograph at two locations during one session.
If you already have a meaningful place in mind, please tell me. I love creating sessions around a senior’s personality, interests and special memories.
-
Yes, please! Those details are what make your senior session personal. You’re welcome to include a uniform, sports equipment, musical instrument, pet or anything else that represents an important part of your life. I love incorporating the interests that inspire you and bring you joy.
-
You don’t need to know how to pose—that’s part of my job. I’ll guide you throughout the session and explain exactly what to do. I’ll also listen to your ideas and ask whether you’ve seen any poses or photographs you especially like.
Some poses may feel a little unfamiliar at first, but I know how they will translate through the camera. I’ll make adjustments as we work so you look comfortable, confident and like yourself.m description

Most senior sessions last between one and three hours, depending on the number of locations and outfit changes you choose. I don’t impose a strict time limit because I don’t want you to feel rushed.
We’ll take the time we need to create plenty of variety and capture everything that is important to you.
-
Absolutely. A parent—usually Mom—has attended every senior session I’ve photographed, and I enjoy having them be part of the experience. Dad is welcome, too, and I’m happy to create a few photographs of you together.
I generally recommend keeping the group small so the session remains relaxed and focused on you. An older sibling is welcome, but friends and younger siblings can sometimes become distracting. We can discuss who you would like to bring and decide what will make you feel most comfortable.
-
I understand that weather and illness are beyond anyone’s control. If rain makes the session impractical or you become sick, we’ll work together to reschedule as quickly as possible. I’m flexible and want you to feel your best while we create your portraits.
-
After your session, you and your family will meet with me either in person or by Zoom to view your photographs and choose the ones you love most.
Once you’ve selected your favorites, I’ll help you decide how you would like to enjoy them. Options include a custom senior album, framed portraits, metal prints and canvas artwork.
-
You’ll choose the album and finished artwork that best fit your family. For every photograph you purchase in an album or as finished artwork, you’ll also receive the corresponding digital image. This gives you something tangible to enjoy for years while also allowing you to share your favorite photographs digitally.
